Beryl Kingston is a prolific reader and fan of the Library. She has had a fulfilling career as a published writer and considers herself to be a “hybrid ” writer when it comes to genres. In this interview we ask Beryl about her past, influences and how the industry has changed over the years.
Rhian Edwards is a musician & author of Clueless Dogs. A collection of her own poems which was published in May 2012. Rhian is winner of the John Tripp award for spoken poetry – The highest accolade for a performance poet in Wales . She has also won Poetry Book Society Choice for her pamphlet of poems Parade the Fib.
Cluesless Dogs was short-listed for the Forward Prize.
When Rhian is not performing, she resides in South Wales with her husband.
Vanessa Gebbie lives in East Sussex and is the author of The Coward’s Tale which was published in 2011 by Bloomsbury . Here, she talks to WBNW about the book, her relationship to the Northern countryside and whether there really is a magic formula for short stories…
